IOGKF-USA 2011 Black Belt Gasshuku

A Gasshuku is a training seminar bringing together some of the most experienced Goju-Ryu practitioners in the country. Member dojos will host Gasshukus all over the USA as well as international Gasshukus in various parts of the world.
A Gasshuku brings together ideas, techniques, friendships, and a comraderie like nothing else can. It allows each and every member of the IOGKF to train alongside some of the best Goju-ryu karateka in the world. The picture above was taken at the 2007 Portland Gassuku. Tampa Family Martial Arts was most fortunate to be able to host an IOGKF-USA Regional Gasshuku in 2006. It was three days of intensive training, black-belt grading, and a friendship dinner to relax and enjoy the company of fellow members
